Kitchen Fluorescent Light – To improve the appearance of the kitchen, consider removing the old light box and replace it with a new one. If you choose a new fluorescent light that is the same size as the previous one, requires very little extra work. Locate the main fuse box of the house and cut the power to the kitchen.
Walk back to the kitchen and place a ladder under kitchen fluorescent light light box so you can access it easily. Climb the ladder and insert a flathead screwdriver along the side of the plastic cover. Slide one edge of the cover of the light box and bend slightly until you can remove it from the ceiling. Secure each tube fluorescent light at the ends and twist them clockwise while pulling downward to separate the light box. Look on the roof of the chapel inside the appliance.
Locate the screws that hold it in place, which are on the sides of the box and they screw into the rafters. Remove each screw with an electric drill. Pull gently recessed light ceiling to expose the wiring. Unscrew the plastic plugs wire cables connect the black, white and green wires cables. Some devices have copper wires instead of green cables. Unscrew the ends of all the cables until they are free. Set the old kitchen fluorescent light fixture to the side. Turn on the power at the main switch and then turn on the light switch to ensure the works of the fluorescent light box.
